Project Title: Herbal Essences Hairspray Magazine Advertisement
Brief Description: I took a bottle of Herbal Essences hairspray and turned it into a product photography shot in order to market and sell to consumers.
Project Objective: For this project I wanted to challenge myself with a transparent round object, unique lighting set up and creating a generative fill background on Adobe Photoshop.
Target Audience/Call to Action: The target audience of this project was consumers of Herbal Essences Hairspray. The call to action was to buy the product because of how appealing it looked in the product shot. In addition, adding it to a magazine ad to increase sales.
Software Used: Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop.
Output Process: Create a rough draft with the raw image. Then, begin the editing process for the photo. Afterwards, creating a mood board and a vision. This lead me to create a magazine advertisement because of the vertical format. I added Herbal Essences brand of text and slogans to my picture, thus creating a magazine advertisement.
Status of Project: Completed. Created for Product Photography class.
